December 10, 2015 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Windsor Spitfires News Release
(Windsor, ON) - In his second trade of the day, General Manager Warren Rychel has dealt defenceman Liam Murray to the Kingston Frontenacs, in exchange for Kingston's 3rd round pick in 2017.
Murray, 18, has spent his entire Ontario Hockey League career with the Spitfires, playing 111 regular season and four playoff games with the club, since the beginning of the 2013-14 season.
"Liam has been a great Spitfire," Rychel said. "Kingston was looking for a veteran defenceman that could bring some physical play to their lineup, and we need to give young guys like (Tyler) Nother and (Kyle) Auger a chance to play. We wish him all the best going forward."
