Kelowna Rockets News Release
The Kelowna Rockets will be looking to get back into the win column on the weekend as they'll face the Vancouver Giants over the weekend in a home-and-home series.
Originally scheduled in July with the weekend series starting in Vancouver on Friday the dates were changed later in the summer, it was announced that the dates of the game were changed in August.

Kelowna was last in action on Wednesday, where their seven-game win streak on home ice came to an end as the Rockets fell 5-4 to the Portland Winterhawks. Trailing 2-1 after one period of play the Winterhawks took control of the game in the second, limiting the Rockets to three shots in the middle stanza while adding three more goals. Kelowna was able to chip away at the Winterhawks making it a one-goal game in the final minute of regulation. Gabriel Szturc recorded his 174th career point on Tij Iginla's goal, pushing him past Vaclav Varada and into sole possession of the Tacoma/Kelowna franchise record of points by a European player.
Vancouver has had the week off after returning from their Eastern Division road trip that saw the Giants go 3-2 on the swing.

Vancouver will have a different look than the last time the two met, as the Giants made a handful of deals leading up to the deadline. They acquired Connor Levis from the Kamloops Blazers, Ty Zimmer from the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Kolby Gapter from Medicine Hat as well as London Hoilett and Marinkovic from the Calgary Hitmen.

Rockets leading scorer Andrew Cristall will enter the game riding a career-high twenty-two game point streak that has seen him record 43 points (16G, 27A) over that span. He has been on the scoresheet for every game since November 11. Previously, his career-best point streak was 12 games set between Oct. 29, 2022 - Nov. 29, 2022, where he posted 30 points (11G, 19A).

THE LAST TIME THESE TWO MET
The Kelowna Rockets kicked off their eight games away from Propsera Place on Dec. 1 with a 4-0 win over the Vancouver Giants at the Langley Events Centre. Jari Kykkanen made 31 saves to earn the second star of the game and collect his first shutout of the season and third of his career. Andrew Cristall was named the game's first star after being in on all of the Rockets goals, recording a goal and three assists.

ONLINE 50/50
The Kelowna Rockets online 50/50 is back for the 2023-24 season!
The online 50/50 will give fans in Rockets fans located in British Columbia and those who are attending the game the chance to win during every Rockets home game this season. The 50/50 will also raise important dollars for the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association.
Tickets will be available for purchase on all game days starting at 9 a.m. PT and end at the start of the third period on the same day.
LINEUP SHEET + GAME DAY PROGRAM
Printed lineup sheets will not be available at games this season, they can be accessed online by visiting the game day program.
The Game Day Program will be available in the same spot, it comes complete with game notes, stats, team rosters and entry forms for the Rockets intermission contests.
The sheet and program will be uploaded by 3:00 p.m. on game days
