FRISCO, TX - After a win at home versus the Vegas Knight Hawks, the Frisco Fighters (8-2) will travel to North Dakota to face the Bismarck Bucks Saturday night at the Bismarck Event Center. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
The Bismarck Bucks are 3-8 heading into week 13 of the 2022 season.

Past meetups - Fighters vs Bucks
The Fighters and Bucks first met last season on July 16, 2021 in Bismarck, ND. After being tied going into the second half of the game, the Fighters were able to take the lead by two touchdowns in the third quarter. However, halfway through the fourth quarter, Bismarck was able to take the lead after Caleb Lewis connected with Justin Rankin for game turning play. The Fighters fought to comeback but fell short after an uncompleted two-point conversion (42-43).
Players to watch
Quarterback TJ Edwards was a powerhouse against the Knight Hawks. Edwards completed nine (13 attempted) passes for a total of 83 yards and a long of 15 yards. This resulted in two touchdowns. Edwards was able to showcase his running game during week twelve's matchup by rushing 39 yards which resulted in another three touchdowns.
Running back Justin Rankin rushed for 30 yards in eight attempts. The Fighters offense was able to collectively accomplish 83 rushing yards, which is 18 more than the opposing team. Saturday night's matchup will mark Rankin's debut back at the Bismarck Event Center, this time, as an opponent.
Wide receiver Sheldon Augustine received for a total of 38 yards on four passes while wide receiver Speedy Gonzalez tallied 25 receiving yards from two passes, resulting in one of the Fighters' touchdowns. Quarterback Blake Sims found himself in a receiving position during week twelve's matchup against the Knight Hawks. Sims received for three yards, resulting in one touchdown.
The Frisco Fighters defense were a key factor in keeping Vegas to a low score. The defense kept the Knight Hawks under 70 rushing yards and forced a loss of 20 yards. Defensive lineman/linebacker Willie Hibbler had four solo tackles while defensive lineman JD Griggs had two solo tackles resulting in a loss of 11 yards. Santos Ramirez and Trey Wafford all picked up interceptions in last week's game.
The Fighters were able to maintain the lead for the entirety of week twelve's matchup to extend their win streak. Frisco looks to do the same against their conference matchup on Saturday.
