Frisco, TX - The Frisco Fighters are on a roll with a 2-0 record so far this season. They are currently the top team in the Eastern Conference. The Fighters had their first home game of the season March 24, 2023 with a 35-13 victory over the newly formed Tulsa Oilers.
The Fighters look to keep the ball rolling with Head Coach and number one coach in the IFl week two coaches poll, Billy Back.

PAST MEETUPS - FIGHTERS V GLADIATORS
The Frisco Fighters and the Duke City Gladiators have met five times in the past with the Fighters winning every meetup, however the scores have remained close with the most recent being a 47-46 Fighters victory on June 11, 2022. In three of the last five meetups with the Gladiators, the Fighters have only won by one point.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
A player to watch this week is wide receiver Charles Headen. Headen started the March 24, 2023 game against the Tulsa Oilers with a 52 yard kickoff return, putting the Fighters on the board first and helping the team maintain the lead throughout the game. The wide receiver joins the Fighters after playing for Southern Methodist University.
Another player to watch this week is wide receiver BJ Bunn. Bunn scored his first touchdown of the season on March 19, 2023 against the Green Bay Blizzard recording 29 reception yards.
Fighters kicker Bryce Crawford is also a player to watch after recording a 46-yard field goal make in the March 24, 2023 game against the Tulsa Oilers and a 23-yard field goal make in the March 19, 2023 game against the Green Bay Blizzard.
