Victoria, B.C. - The Spokane Chiefs will kick off the 2022-23 regular season against the Victoria Royals Friday night. The last time the teams faced each other, the Chiefs skated to a 4-2 victory to clinch a spot in the 2022 WHL Playoffs.
The Chiefs are without goaltender Mason Beaupit and defenseman Graham Sward this weekend as they are away at their respective NHL training camps in San Jose and Nashville.
