Preview: Bethlehem Steel FC to Face FC Montreal Sunday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Bethlehem Steel FC will play FC Montreal this Sunday, May 15, at 4 p.m. at Lehigh University's Goodman Stadium following the 12 p.m. game between Lehigh Valley United and Reading United AC. The Bethlehem Steel FC game will be televised on Service Electric TV2.

Steel FC enter the match after a four game unbeaten streak. Last Saturday, May 7, Bethlehem Steel FC faced Orlando City B in which they tied 2-2. Steel FC made a mark on the scoreboard after an own goal from Orlando and Fabian Herbers' second goal of the season.

FC Montreal enter Sunday's match looking for their first win of the season. Montreal have lost every game thus far in 2016 and sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with zero points. Most recently, Montreal fell to Charlotte Independence 1-0 on Saturday, May 7.

Sunday's match will be a special one for Bethlehem Steel FC, who played FC Montreal in their first ever match on March 25, 2016 and won 1-0 with a goal from Fabian Herbers. The team will be without Walter Restrepo on Sunday who is serving suspension after receiving a red card in last weekend's game.

A limited amount of tickets to Sunday's match are still available online and can be purchased by calling 844-STEELFC. A ticket will grant access to both games.
