HARRISON, N.J. - New York Red Bulls II tied the Richmond Kickers on Saturday afternoon, 1-1. Anatole Abang scored the lone New York goal, his third of the USL season.

With the draw, Red Bulls II moves to 4-1-3 on the season with 15 points.

New York had its first scoring chance of the game in the 45th minute when defender Konrad Plewa rocketed a shot off the post from more than 30-yards out.

In the second half, Plewa played a cross from the right flank towards a streaking Abang in the penalty box in the 57th minute. The forward got a piece of the ball, but was unable to re-direct his shot on goal.

In the 68th minute, second half substitute Stefano Bonomo forced a turnover in the final third and delivered a ball to Junior Flemmings who hit the post. Abang collected the rebound, directing it into the back of the net for the first goal of the game.

Brian Ownby leveled the match for Richmond in the 90th minute. Alex Lee swung in a cross from the left flank and Ownby headed in the last minute goal to tie the game. Richmond's equalizer was the first second-half goal conceded by NYRB II this season.

Red Bulls II is back next weekend in Canada when they take on FC Montreal at Complexe Sportif Claude-Robillard on Saturday, May 21 at 3 p.m. New York returns home on Saturday, May 28 when they play the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at 10 p.m. at Red Bull Arena.
