The Houston Aeros (16-14-1-2) play host to the Hamilton Bulldogs (18-9-1-3) for the second and final meeting this season. The Aeros, who have dropped three-in-a-row, return home after a five-game road trip in which they went 1-4-0-0. Houston remains in the thick of the West Division race. Entering the week, the Aeros trail first fifth place Oklahoma City by one point, fourth place Texas by two points and first place San Antonio by 10 points. Hamilton, meanwhile, leads the North Division and has won four of their last six. One of the two losses in that span came at the hands of the Aeros (a 3-1 decision on Dec. 14).

TRENDING --- The Aeros have allowed the first goal in three of the last four games after scoring first in eight straight.

Anton Khudobin stopped 19 of 20 shots but the effort wasn ‚¬â„¢t enough to push the Houston Aeros over the top in a 1-0 loss to the Manitoba Moose on Saturday night at the MTS Centre. Manitoba ‚¬â„¢s Sergei Shirokov broke a 0-0 deadlock 3:51 into the third period with his seventh goal of the season. Travis Ramsay and Shawn Weller earned helpers on the goal.
