Lawson, Pistilli, Staal Re-Assigned to Florida

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte Checkers general manager and head coach Jeff Daniels announced today that defenseman Kyle Lawson and forwards Matthew Pistilli and Jared Staal have been re-assigned to the Florida Everblades (ECHL).

Lawson, 23, was held scoreless in three games on his current recall and has played in five games overall with the Checkers.

Pistilli, 22, tallied one goal and three assists in five games since being recalled on Dec. 10.

Staal, 20, scored one goal in three games since being recalled on Dec. 16 and has skated in 12 games overall with Charlotte.

The Checkers (17-10-4) will continue their road trip following the holiday break when they head to Norfolk to take on the Admirals on Dec. 28 at 7:15 p.m. The team will return home on Jan. 1 to host the Binghamton Senators at 7 p.m. Holiday packs are on sale until Monday and include four games and a puck for as low as $35.
