The Bees: Steve Carrillo continued his success against the Barnstormers this season with another strong night in last night's win. Carrillo went 2-4 with a run scored and RBI, pushing his batting average against Lancaster this season to a red-hot .429 in six games (to go along with four runs scored).
The Opposition: Infielder Kevin Ahrens is in the midst of a ten-game hitting streak, batting .390 (16-41) during the streak. The former 2007 first round draft pick of the Blue Jays has picked up four doubles, a home run, four RBIs and has scored eight times within that span.
Starters
New Britain- RHP Brian Dupra (4-0, 3.35) | Lancaster- RHP Bryan Evans (3-2, 3.75)
Key to the Game - Trust the Process:Brian Dupra has been simply dominant in two starts against the Barnstormers this season. In his first start on May 8 at Lancaster, he allowed one run and struck out eight in the Bees' 2-1 win. He was even better in his next start against them at home on May 26, striking out nine and allowing just one run in eight innings. Look for the right-hander out of Notre Dame to attack Lancaster's hitters in similar fashion to his first two starts.
