Series: The Bees took the first game of the three-game series last night in 5-2 rain-shortened win. The Connecticut rivals are 2-2 against each other heading into today's doubleheader.

The Bees: Owner of the third best ERA among active pitchers in the league at 1.44, Cole Johnson looks to replicate the success he had in his first start against the Bluefish on April 28 in which he allowed just one run in six innings in Bridgeport. Johnson's teammate at the University of Notre Dame- Brian Dupra- will also start today, and enters his start with a 1.84 ERA in nearly 15 innings of work this season.
The Opposition: Outfielder Ruben Sosa Jr. has reached base in all 19 games he has played in this season, posting the third best OBP in the ALPB at .429. He also carries a five-game hitting streak into play today.
