Preseason Roster Update

Seattle Reign FC News Release


TACOMA, Wash. - Reign FC today announced updates to its 31-player preseason roster. The preseason roster now includes 23 players under contract and 6 non-roster invitees.

Changes to the roster include the departure of three non-roster invitees: goalkeeper Kori Butterfield, defender Siobhan McDonough, and forward Summer Mason.

Midfielder Jess Fishlock remains on loan to Olympique Lyonnais, while Australian defender Steph Catley is expected to arrive in Seattle on Wednesday, March 20.

On Saturday, March 23, Reign FC will head to Portland for three preseason friendlies at Merlo Field: the club will face the U.S. Women's National Team U23s on Sunday, March 24 at 11:30 a.m. PT, the Chicago Red Stars on Wednesday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m. PT, and the Portland Thorns on Saturday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. PT.

The club's final preseason friendly will be against the University of Washington at Husky Soccer Stadium on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. PT.

Reign FC will begin the 2019 NWSL Regular Season with a match on the road against the Houston Dash on Sunday, April 14 at 3:00 p.m. PT. Reign FC will play its first home match at Cheney Stadium on Sunday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. PT against the Orlando Pride.
