Preseason Game Day at a Glance
May 26, 2023 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release
FOOTBALL IS BACK! After the long and winding chapter that was the off-season, the Roughriders are ready for 2023. With many fresh faces on the field and on the sidelines, this will be the first chance for fans to catch returning favourites and future stars.
It's also Community Culture Night, where we celebrate the diverse cultural backgrounds in our great province with vibrant performances throughout the evening.
Coors Light Party in the Park makes its triumphant return pregame, and the gates open at 2:00 p.m. Don't miss out on performances from the Regina Chinese Canadian Association Tai Chi group and the Natya Sudha Indian Dance Group. On the Coors Light Stage, the Mariachi Latino Band will get you dancing and singing along!
On top of all of that, Party in the Park will also feature an autograph session with All-Stars Derrick Moncrief and Derel Walker!
The fun continues inside the stadium during pre-game, where there will be additional multicultural performances on the field. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and you'll want to be in your seat so you don't miss out on these special artists and performers. Meanwhile, halftime is set to bring fans around the world in 15 minutes as Salsa Colada, the Regina Highland Dancers, and the Ilongo group take the field!
Following the game, fans are invited to come down to the field! This opportunity only happens a few times a season, so grab the kids and come on down to see how fast you can run from one endzone to the other! Fans can access the field using the stairs by Pil Country.
Our fans have been asking for more affordable food options and we're excited to announce that we are unveiling our brand-new scrumptious $5 menu items! Each vendor will provide a different $5 item so it will be worth taking a leisurely stroll around the concourse and feast your eyes on the mouth-watering options that await you!
And if you haven't secured your seats yet - the ever-popular family pack is back for this and every home game this season (except Labour Day)! Bring your family of four to the game for $99.00 in various sections around the stadium!
Reminders for the game
Your phone is your ticket! Don't forget to download the Rider App, powered by SaskTel, onto your smartphone and have your digital tickets ready before you come to Mosaic Stadium. We promise it's easy, but we created a tutorial video here and have a full FAQ and written tutorial at Riderville.com, just in case!
Large purses, backpacks and camera bags are prohibited. There is a clear bag policy for all Saskatchewan Roughrider games. Each fan, including children, can bring in one clear bag sized 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. More details on the clear bag policy can be found here.
In transit? Whether you arrive at the stadium on four wheels or two, there are options available! The bike valet opens at 3:00 p.m. on game day and is staffed by volunteers through REAL. The bikes are inside a fenced compound that is monitored throughout its hours of operation. Please note that your bike must be picked up within one hour after the game ends. The bike valet is located by the South West exterior of the Stadium by Gate 1.
In addition, Rider Transit presented by WorkSafe Saskatchewan is back! Free bus transit is available from various locations across the city Southland Mall, University of Regina, Warehouse district, the Delta Hotel, Victoria Ave and Scarth Street and the Turvey Centre, starting two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff time.
