Las Vegas Gladiators News Release

Las Vegas, NV March 13, 2007 - Las Vegas Gladiators' wide receiver Kevin Prentiss has been named the Arena Football League's Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in leading the Gladiators to a 79-69 win over the Grand Rapids Rampage in Grand Rapids last Thursday.

In the Gladiators victory last Thursday, Prentiss set an AFL record by catching nine touchdown receptions, breaking the previous mark of seven.

Prentiss stunned fans with his speed and agility last Thursday, but to Head Coach Danton Barto it was no surprise. Barto coached Prentiss in 2004 and 2005 with the Memphis Xplorers of the af2, where he set career high matching and franchise-high matching 103 receptions, 1627 receiving yards, 40 touchdown receptions and 264 points in 2005.

Season tickets for the 2007 Las Vegas Gladiators home schedule are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Las Vegas Gladiators office at 702-731-4977. The Gladiators kick off their home opener against the New Orleans VooDoo on March 18th at 3pm in the Orleans Arena.
