Orlando Predators News Release
Orlando, Fla. (March 13) -- As expected, the Predators placed lineman Jim Sodano on their injured reserve list on Tuesday afternoon. Sodano ruptured his left patella tendon on the second play of Monday's 44-37 overtime loss to Los Angeles. The injury will require surgery and Sodano will be lost for the season.
Sodano's spot on the roster will be filled by veteran Doug Miller. Miller played five seasons with the Predators - playing five of six line positions, fullback and both linebacker spots during his career. He will most likely concentrate on offensive line, but could see action at other positions. Miller has 58 career tackles with nine quarterback sacks and eight pass defenses.
Miller became a free agent after the 2006 season, but was not signed by any team.
