Real Salt Lake News Release
LOS ANGELES, CA. - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster announced today that the league will travel to Salt Lake City for its Week 10 games. Zions Bank Stadium will host four games from August 12th to August 13th.
"In 2020 when professional sports was put on a temporary hold, our entire league descended on Zions Bank Stadium for a quarantined month-long tournament," said Co-Founder and President, Paul Rabil. "In 2022, all eight clubs return to Zions Bank Stadium - this time, with fans. Both unforgettable."
Friday night will feature a doubleheader with 6:00PM MT and 8:45PM MT faceoffs.
Saturday afternoon will feature another double-header, with start times scheduled for 1:00PM MT and 3:45PM MT.
"It's an honor to have the Premier Lacrosse League return to Herriman to have all eight of their teams play in Zions Bank Stadium," said John Kimball, President of Real Salt Lake. "These games are so competitive and played at such a high level of intensity, it's exciting to provide an opportunity for Utah's lacrosse community to come watch them live and in person. Kids everywhere aspire to play at the highest levels of competition, now it will be here in their own backyard."
"These games allow Utah fans to see some of the greatest lacrosse players in the world compete in their own backyard," said Utah Sports Commission President and CEO Jeff Robbins. "Our partnership with the PLL and Real Salt Lake was an important part of our state's return to sport in 2020, we are proud to continue that partnership and bring the teams back to Zions Bank Stadium in 2022."
