
Edison Azcona Called up by Dominican Republic

Inter Miami CF attacker Edison Azcona has been called up to the Dominican Republic National Team for its upcoming training camp.
Azona will join the national team for the week of March 21 to March 27, as the squad trains in Murcia, Spain.
The versatile attacker has recorded three appearances for the Dominican Republic to date, with the 18-year-old making his debut for the senior national team on Jan. 19, 2021.
Azcona was signed as a Homegrown Player for Inter Miami CF on Jan. 26, 2021, and made his MLS debut against Nashville SC on May 2, 2021, becoming the club's first Academy product to appear in an MLS match.
Azcona will be a part of Inter Miami's squad when it welcomes LAFC to DRV PNK Stadium in the team's second home game of the 2022 regular season on Saturday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
