
Pre-Game Autograph Session with UFC Fighters Chiesa and Thompson

(Edmonton) - Before the Edmonton Eskimos host the Toronto Argonauts this Thursday July 25, fans can meet UFC fighters Michael Chiesa and Stephen Thompson at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
The welterweights will sign autographs at 7 p.m. in the QB Club (east side of the stadium/LRT side). Gates open at 6:30 p.m. ahead of the 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
Tickets start at just $22 for a general admission pass - including all taxes and fees. Youth aged 17 and under get into the game for free in select seating sections. Tickets available at Ticketmaster.ca.
Earlier this month, Chiesa defeated Diego Sanchez at UFC 239 in Las Vegas by unanimous decision. A professional competitor since 2008, Cheisa was the winner of The Ultimate Fighter season 15. His dominant 16-4 pro record includes 11 wins by submission and five first round finishes in under a minute. Chiesa is undefeated since debuting as a welterweight.
Thompson, A.K.A. Wonderboy, is ranked No. 6 as a UFC welterweight contender. Pro since 2010, his 14-4-1 record includes seven wins by knockout and one by submission. Prior to competing in UFC, he racked up a 57-0 kickboxing record, including 40 knockouts.
Chiesa and Thompson are in Edmonton for UFC 240 this Saturday when Max Holloway takes on Frankie Edgar in the featherweight title bout.
