PrairieThunder Notes

Head Coach Jason Christie made a roster move on Monday afternoon waiving goaltender Kevin Armstrong. Although Armstrong saw action in the preseason, he did not play in any of the PThunder's first three regular season games.....The team's new twine-tender is Brad Phillips. The 21 year old native of Farmington Hills, Michigan played college hockey last year at Notre Dame (CCHA). The 6'-2", 181 lbs goaltender played in ten games posting a 2.47 goals against average and a 91.1% save percentage. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.....This is the first time in the PrairieThunder's five year history that the team has started the season 3-0.....Both home games will be broadcast on WJBC.com.....After this weekend's home games, Bloomington plays three road games; next weekend at Fort Wayne and Quad City, and the following weekend at Wichita, Kansas.
