The Green Bay Gamblers defeated the Tri-City Storm 5-3 on Friday night at the Viaero Center in Kearney, NE. With the win, the Gamblers improve to 3-2-0-0 on the season.
The Gamblers scored 4 of their 5 goals with the man advantage. The team was 4/5 on the powerplay.
Scoring for the Gamblers were forwards Jared Spooner (2), Chris Grando, Dante Palecco and Brock Caufield. Also worth noting, defenseman Connor Mackey led the team with 2 assists.
Maxim Zhukov recorded the win for the Gamblers with 13 saves on 16 shots on goal. With the win, Zhukov improves to 2-1 on the season.
