Potomac Nationals vs.Carolina Mudcats Series Opener Postponed

Tonight's scheduled Potomac Nationals series opener with the Carolina Mudcats (Cleveland Indians) slated for 7:05pm at Pfitzner Stadium this evening has been postponed due to constant rainfall and wet grounds.

The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader that begins at 6:00pm tomorrow night (Tuesday).

Washington Nationals 3B Ryan Zimmerman will join the Potomac Nationals for the twin bill on a rehabilitation appearance.

The Potomac Nationals Baseball Network will get underway with the P-Nats Pregame Show at 6:50pm before the live play-by-play at 7:05pm.

The pitching matchup is to be determined.
