Evansville Otters News Release
June 30, 2008, O'Fallon, MO - Evansville got off to another fast start tonight behind some great pitching from Mike Damchuk and an offense that plated five runs in the first four innings with Tom Pennino driving in three of the runs on two two-out hits. A three-run homerun from Luke Barganier made is closer in the third inning, but Evansville was cruising...until the sixth. Back-to-back hits started off the frame and after Damchuk was relieved after an RBI single, Dustin Renfrow (0-2) came out of the pen and was tagged for three hits, including a two-run triple from Jacob Deboer as the Rascals scored six runs to take the lead for good, 9-6.
Evansville begins a nine-game home stand at Bosse Field starting tomorrow night at 7:05 against the Southern Illinois Miners.
