
Pogge signs NHL deal

Calgary, Alta. -- The Calgary Hitmen hockey club is proud to announce that goalkeeper Justin Pogge has signed a three year entry level contract with the National Hockey League's Toronto Maple Leafs.
A 6'3" 205 lb. native of Penticton, B.C., Pogge was a third round pick of the Leafs in the 2004 NHL entry draft.
He's bolted out of the gates this year, leading the WHL in shutouts (6), goals against average (1.53) and save percentage (92.8). He's also tied with 22 victories.
Pogge is currently with Canada's World Junior Team preparing for the Boxing Day opener against Finland.
