Podcast #6 features a visit with Copperheads Head Coach Ollie Guidry. Guidry discusses the week 12 loss at Bossier-Shreveport and looks ahead to the Copperheads' week 13 home contest with the Corpus Christi Sharks. Coach also discusses a career ending neck injury to Copperheads DL Julian Hill. Hill was injured late in the third quarter of the 6/14/08 game at Bossier-Shreveport.
All time Copperheads leading scorer Nick Gatto visits with txcopperheads.com in podcast #7. Gatto scored 17 points in week 11 at Rio Grande Valley by converting on 4 of 4 FG attempts and 5 of 5 PATs. Gatto's 17 points was the third highest ever scored by an af2 kicker in a single game. Gatto holds the 2nd place record as well having scored 18 points against Laredo on 5/14/07.
The Copperheads return to the Berry Center on Saturday June 21, 2008 for a 7:30pm meeting with the Corpus Christi Sharks. Tickets for the June 21st contest with Corpus Christi start at just ten dollars. Group tickets begin at five dollars.
