Labor Day and traveling is just weeks away and the Cardinals have something that might help you out. Thursday, August 10, is G.L. Moore & Tire Automotive Night where nine sets of tires will be given away throughout the night (one set each inning). In addition, 5000 cards will be handed out that could contain various discounts and giveaways on each one. It's the first game in the seven-game home stand as the Cardinals host the Frisco RoughRiders. Game time at Hammons Field 7:10 p.m. Gates open 6:10 p.m.

Start your weekend off with a fun and exciting night at Hammons Field and have a chance to win an equally exciting time in Las Vegas! On Friday, August 11, the Cardinals will be giving away 18 Round-Trip tickets to Vegas for fans 21 and over, courtesy of Allegiant Air. Two tickets will be given away each inning, so don't miss your chance for a free vacation. It's also the final Friday night game of the season, which means it's the final AM Pyrotechnics Friday Night Fireworks. Everyone loves a good T-Shirt and on Saturday, August 12, you can get one for free. St. John's is giving away Athletic Gray Cardinals T-Shirts to 2,500 fans in attendance. You may like it so much, you'll have to put it on right then. First pitch 6:10 p.m. Game time 5:10 p.m.

HILAND DAIRY ICE CREAM SUNDAY
Cap off your great and relaxing weekend by coming to Hammons Field on Sunday, August 13 to watch your Springfield Cardinals take on the Midland RockHounds, the Double-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Before the game, kids can enjoy delicious ice cream treats courtesy of Hiland Dairy. Game time 6:10 p.m. Gates open 5:10 p.m.

CINGULAR BOB GIBSON BOBBLEHEAD NIGHT
READING ROUNDUP BOOK DRIVE
On Monday, August 14th, you have the chance to take home a collectible of one of the greatest pitchers of all time. It's Bob Gibson Bobblehead Night, courtesy of Cingular. Gibson pitched 16 seasons for St. Louis and helped lead them to three World Series appearances and two World Series wins. He's a former MVP, won the Cy Young Award in 1968 and 1970, and is a member of the Hall of Fame. This special promotion will be available to 2,500 fans so don't miss your chance to take home this collector's item. There will also be a Reading Roundup Book Drive before the game, where fans may bring a children's book to any gate at Hammons Field to help Reading Roundup with this wonderful cause. Nothing feels better on these hot days of August then a nice, cold drink. On Tuesday, August 15, Sonic is giving away free Medium Drink tokens to all fans in attendance. These tokens can be redeemed at any area Sonic location with a food purchase. So come get your free token and quench your thirst with a medium drink from Sonic. Before the game is the final night of the Bank of America "Neighborhood Champions" program. All four previous recipients will be recognized together in a pre-game ceremony.
