
Playoff Series Shifts to Sydney for Games 3 & 4

Your Halifax Mooseheads are sitting in control of their first round QMJHL playoff series matchup versus the Eagles after winning the first two games of the best-of-seven battle on Scotiabank Centre ice over the weekend.
Evan Boucher's overtime tally on Saturday night gave the Moose their second win of the series with a 4-3 comeback victory, one night after a 4-1 win in the opener. The series now shifts to Centre 200 in Sydney, Cape Breton for Games 3 & 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday. The puck will drop at 7pm on both nights.
Josh Lawrence leads all skaters on either team with four points through the first two contests with two goals and two assists. Ivan Ivan has the most goals in the series with three after scoring a natural hat trick in a losing cause on Saturday. Halifax's Jordan Dumais and Zach L'Heureux each have three assists as does Cape Breton's Cam Squires while Alex Doucet of the Herd also has three points with a goal and two assists.
Lawrence, L'Heureux and Cape Breton's Samuel Johnson are the plus/minus leaders at +3, while Julien Hebert of the Eagles is a series worst -4.
Mathis Rousseau has been in goal for the Mooseheads for both victories and has stopped 60 of 64 shots for a 1.86 goals against average and a .938 save percentage. Cape Breton has split the duties between goalies Oliver Satny and Nicolas Ruccia and the netminders have combined for 69 saves on 77 shots against with a total goals against average of 3.71 and a combined save percentage of .896.

Game 5, if necessary, would be played back in Halifax on Friday night at 7pm at Scotiabank Centre. Tickets would go on sale the morning after a loss at 11am at TicketAtlantic.com.
