Player Workout on April 2 Open To Public

OMAHA - The public is invited to Rosenblatt Stadium on Monday, April 2nd to watch the 2007 Omaha Royals first workout at their home ballpark. The workout is scheduled for 3-5 p.m. and is free to the public.

Following the workout, a Welcome the Team BBQ is scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Stadium View Club. Those attending will be able to meet the players on Omaha's Opening Day roster, as well as enjoy Skeeter Barnes barbecue and live music.

Tickets for the BBQ are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12-and-under. Tickets must be purchased by this Friday, March 30th to reserve seats. Proceeds from the event benefit the Omaha Royals Youth Baseball Fund.

The Royals open their 2007 Pacific Coast League season on Thursday, April 5th, at 7:35 p.m. at Albuquerque, with the home opener at Rosenblatt Stadium slated for Friday, April 13th at 7:05 p.m., also vs. the Isotopes.
