
Plagens To Work All-Star Game Telecast

(Boise, ID) -Idaho Steelheads broadcaster Doug Plagens has been selected by the ECHL to be part of the league's All-Star Game telecast on January 20th in Ontario, CA. The game can be seen in Boise on Cable One, DirecTV, or Dish Network.
Plagens, in his second year as the Voice of the Steelheads, will provide rink-side reports for play-by-play broadcaster Jack Michaels (Alaska Aces) and color analyst Neil Smith (Johnstown Chiefs).
The game will be carried live on both television and the radio in the Treasure Valley. KTIK-AM (1350), the flagship station of the Steelheads, will carry the radio broadcast once again. Broadcast time is 8 PM from Ontario, CA.
There are three options for people who want to watch the game on television. Cable One subscribers can watch the game on Cable One Access One (channel 17). DirecTV and Dish Network subscribers can also watch the game on Altitude Sports and Entertainment (DirecTV channel 681, Dish Network channel 410).
The game will also be available live online via the B2 Network. Fans can access the B2 Network by visiting www.idahosteelheads.com.
Plagens is the sixth member of the Steelheads organization to be selected for the All Star game. Head coach Derek Laxdal will coach the National Conference team, which will include goaltender Richard Bachman, defenseman Brendan Milnamow, and forwards Evan Barlow and John Swanson.
The Steelheads return home on Wednesday, January 13, to host the Utah Grizzlies. Tickets are available at the Qwest Arena box office or by calling 208.331.TIXS.
