The Yakima Bears shutout the Spokane Indians 5-0 Tuesday night at Yakima County Stadium. The Bears are now 11-8 this season and, after winning two of three games against the Indians, the team has won four-consecutive series.

Wheeler would earn his second win in as many starts. Frank Santana then came in and K'd five batters in two shutout innings. Jose Jose finished the game by blanking the Indians in the final two frames. Those three pitchers allowed only five hits and finished with a combined 12 strikeouts.

Three Bears batters ended the night with multi-hit games, as Yakima outhit Spokane 8-5. Josh Parr went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, a RBI, a walk, and a stolen base.
