Miami Majesty News Release
Sunrise, FL. The ABA Florida Pit Bulls roared out to a 17-3 lead and cruised past the outmanned visiting Atlanta Vision 98-55 at the BankAtlantic Center. Shorthanded due to illness, the usually tough Vision didn't have the guns to compete in this game with the strong Pit Bulls. Marcus Barnes led four players for the Pit Bulls in double figures by scoring 12 first half points. Dwight Anglade and Ron Dokes added 11 and Terrence Shelmen had 10 with 7 rebounds.
Florida raised its record to 4-2. The win also tied them for 1st place in the Marvin Barnes Division with the Birmingham Magicians. The PitBulls conclude their four game homestand Thursday, December 8th with a contest versus the Mississippi Stingers at 7pm at The BankAtlantic Center. All 18 Pit Bulls games will be broadcast on NewsTalk 1360-WKAT. For more information, contact tonycalatayud@yahoo.com or visit www.floridapitbulls.com or www.abalive.com.
