
Pistons Recall Amir Johnson

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Pistons announced today that they have recalled Amir Johnson from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA D-League.
Johnson, a second-year forward, appeared in six games with the Skyforce averaging 17.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.3 blocks, 1.7 assists and 29.8 minutes in six games. He recorded three games with 20-plus points and blocked three or more shots in four games. The Skyforce (15-9) were 5-1 with Johnson in the lineup.
Drafted 56th by the Pistons in the 2005 NBA Draft, Johnson averaged 17.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 17 games last season with the Fayetteville Patriots of the D-League.
