In his senior year, he was named a finalist for the Mike Richter Award, given to top goalie in NCAA Division I Men's hockey.
Arnold, a 5-foot-8, 165 pound center from Foxboro, Massachusetts, joins the AHL ranks for the second time this season. The 26 year-old rookie played four games earlier this season for the Ontario Reign, where he collected two penalty minutes.
With the Monarchs, Arnold has scored 14 goals and 11 assists in 31 games this season. He also 36 PIM and a plus-13 rating.
