Ciampini Recalled from Indy

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, announced that they have recalled left wing Daniel Ciampini from their ECHL affiliate, the Indy Fuel.

Ciampini, 25, has recorded tallied one goal in eight games with the IceHogs this season. In 31 games with the Fuel, he has posted 22 points on seven goals and 15 assists, including a helper in a 5-3 win over the Orlando Solar Bears on Wednesday.

The Concord, Ont. native played in 15 games for the AHL's Worcester Sharks in 2014-15 upon completing his senior season at Union College. While with the Sharks, he picked up six points on three goals and three assists.

Next Home Game: Friday, Feb. 19 vs. Manitoba Moose. The contest begins at 7 p.m. BMO Harris Bank will be giving away a free pair of socks to the first 2,500 fans in attendance, and the IceHogs encourage fans to bring new pairs of socks to donate to Project Undershare. Fans who donate socks will receive a ticket voucher to a pre-selected game.
