Blue Flame Friday: Those 21-and-older can get their weekend started early at the BMO at the Blues Flame Lounge Pre-Game Party. Hoodoo Rhythm will be performing while guests enjoy free appetizers and happy hour drink specials. Fans with a game ticket must enter through the upper-concourse level entrance on Elm St. near the box office. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and only the first 150 will be permitted.
Sock Giveaway: The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a pair of socks courtesy of BMO Harris Bank.
BMO Harris Bank Sock Drive: Fan are encouraged to donate a pair of new socks at the doors upon arriving to the game. Those who donate will receive an IceHogs ticket voucher for a pre-selected game. Fans can take part in the social chatter by posting a picture wearing their favorite pair of socks via social media using #BMOSockSelfie. Images will be shared on the videoboard throughout the game. Last year, more than 1,500 socks were collected during the donation period. This year, the goal is to collect 2,000 socks. All sock donations will help children in need through Project Undershare.
Matchup: The IceHogs take on the Moose for the second time in two days. On Wednesday, the first time the two teams had met in nearly six years, Manitoba defeated Rockford by a score of 5-2. The IceHogs will look to silence Moose forward, Patrice Cormier, who netted a hat trick during that game. Mark McNeill extended his goal-scoring streak to four games on Wednesday, while also earning points (8g-7a) in 13 of his last 14 contests. McNeill ranks second in points (27) amongst IceHogs skaters, sitting one point behind Ryan Hartman.
Tickets: Tickets for Friday's game can be purchased at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office or any Ticketmaster location, by phone (815 968-5222) or online at www.icehogs.com.
Broadcast: All games are broadcast locally live on WIFR's Justice Network on 23.3, and online through AHLLive.com. To listen to a free audio broadcast, tune in through WXRX.com or use the IceHogs app. Follow along on Twitter (@goicehogs) for live updates throughout the game.
