
Piermayr Returns to Austria Ahead of Toronto Trip

As the jubilant Colorado Rapids squad returned to Denver on Sunday morning, they were minus one player. Defender Thomas Piermayr, who made his MLS debut in the 2-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps, instead took a flight back to Vienna.
He will visit the United States' embassy in the Austrian capital on Tuesday to finalize all the necessary paperwork for his move to the U.S, before returning to Canada on Thursday for this weekend's fixture with Toronto FC, kick-off 2 p.m MT.
