Phoenix Mercury News Release

PHOENIX - The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury today activated center Kia Vaughn, the team has announced. Vaughn missed the Mercury's first four games of the season due to an overseas commitment and was placed on the league's partial season suspension list until returning to Phoenix and clearing league protocols. An updated Mercury roster is attached.

With the addition of Vaughn, the Mercury has released Cierra Burdick, who was a member of the Mercury's 2021 training camp and signed to a hardship roster spot to begin the season. Burdick saw action in all of the Mercury's first four games this season.
