Philadelphia Union to Unveil 2014 Primary Kit March 4th

Chester, Pa. ( Feb. 18, 2014 ) - Philadelphia Union will officially unveil their brand new primary kit at the 2014 "Meet the Team" event on Tuesday, March 4 from 6-8 p.m. at the Dave & Buster's on Columbus Blvd in Philadelphia. The event, which will include the entire Philadelphia Union roster, is free and open to the public. Only 2014 Full Season Ticket Holders will have exclusive access to meet players.

In addition to the Philadelphia Union first team attending and the 2014 primary jersey unveiling, fans can watch finalists for the Union's "Start Your Journey" broadcast talent search, as contestants will compete head to head for a chance to be a part of a Union home local broadcast, "90th Minute" radio program presented by Farmers Insurance on CBS Sports Radio 610 or a www.philadelphiaunion.com webisode. Contestants will be judged by Comcast SportsNet anchor Amy Fadool, WMMR Preston and Steve Show producer Marisa Magnatta, Union play by play announcer JP Dellacamera and WPHT Morning Show host Chris Stigall, who all will be in attendance. Union merchandise, including the primary kit and other new items for 2014, will be available for purchase in addition to drink specials at Dave & Buster's.

The Union open the 2014 season March 8 on the road against Portland Timbers at Providence Park (10:30 ET, CSN). Philadelphia will play the home opener at PPL Park Saturday, March 15 against the New England Revolution (4 p.m. ET, CSN).
