Philadelphia Union News Release

CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that three players from the club's 2018 roster have been signed to new contracts. Defender Fabinho, midfielder Warren Creavalle, and forward Kacper Przybylko have all been signed to new deals ahead of the 2019 season.

Previously, Creavalle was out of contract, while Fabinho's existing 2019 contract option was declined. Philadelphia also declined Przybylko's existing 2019 option before signing him to a new deal.

"We are pleased to have reached agreements for all three players to return to our club," said Union Sporting Director Ernst Tanner. "Fabinho is such an important leader for our club, a valued player and person who truly is the heartbeat of our locker room. Warren's ball-winning skills fit well under our tactical philosophy, and we are encouraged with Kacper's progress in regaining full fitness. All three are important depth pieces for us and we look forward to welcoming them back."

Fabinho ranks fifth all-time in games started for Philadelphia (110) as well as sixth all time in Union history in games played (121). He has scored twice and recorded 15 assists over his six seasons with the club, arriving from Australia's Sydney FC midway through the 2013 campaign.

Creavalle returns to the Union for his fifth season with the club after originally joining the Union via trade from Toronto FC during the 2015 campaign. He has played 62 career regular-season matches for Philadelphia (34 starts), notching four assists.

Finally, Przybylko returns for his first full campaign with the Union after signing with Philadelphia on September 14, 2018. Regaining full fitness after a foot injury suffered at his previous club, Germany's 1. FC Kaiserslautern, he did not appear for the Union last season.

TRANSACTION: Philadelphia Union sign defender Fabinho, midfielder Warren Creavalle, and forward Kacper Przybylko to new contracts on December 17, 2018.
