CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union played Liga MX side C.F. Pachuca in an International friendly on Saturday night, winning 1-0. The first half saw both sides scoreless with both teams having multiple chances on net. Goalkeeper Joe Bendik posted two saves to keep C.F. Pachuca at bay. Union got on the board early in the second half when Homegrown defender Nate Harriel found himself on the receiving end of a set piece from defender Kai Wagner in the 49th minute. The second half saw chances from both sides, but the Union clamped down and earned a clean sheet.
The Union are back on the road to face Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, October 1st (5:30 p.m. ET / PHL17).
