Phantoms to Host Career Fair

On Wednesday, April 3, the Philadelphia Phantoms will host a Sports and Entertainment Career Fair prior to their game at the First Union Spectrum. This event will provide a chance for college students to speak to people in the sports industry, submit resumes and find out about internships and full and part-time positions. The cost is $10, which includes admission to the Career Fair and that night's game at 7:05 p.m. against the rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Representatives from such areas as Marketing Sales, Ticket Sales, Sports Medicine, Sports Law, Public Relations, Advertising, Broadcasting, Finance, Player Personnel and Journalism will be on hand. Among the 20 sports and entertainment organizations scheduled to have tables on the concourse are Comcast-Spectacor, the Flyers, 76ers, Eagles, Phillies, Phantoms, KiXX, Charge, Wings, Bowie Baysox, Delmarva Shorebirds, Frederick Keys, Philadelphia University, Temple, Villanova and Comcast SportsNet.

Career Fair attendees will be able to visit the tables from 3:00-4:45 p.m. before executives from Comcast-Spectacor will speak and take questions from 5:00-5:30. For more information, call 215-465-4522 or 215-389-9543.
