PHLEX BOBBLEHEAD DOLL NIGHT ON WEDNESDAY
The first 2,500 kids (14 & under) in attendance this Wednesday, April 3 will receive a Phlex bobblehead doll. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. that night. If you're not able to make it to the game, check out the Phantoms Family Value Pack, which for just $50, gets you four game tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and one Phlex bobblehead doll (while supplies last). CAREER FAIR ALSO SET FOR WEDNESDAY
Also on Wednesday, the Phantoms will host a Sports and Entertainment Career Fair from 3:00-5:30 p.m. prior to their game at the First Union Spectrum. This event will provide a chance for the public to speak to people in the sports industry, submit resumes and find out about internships and full and part-time positions. The cost is $10, which includes admission to the Career Fair and that night's game at 7:05 p.m. against the rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Representatives from such areas as Marketing Sales, Ticket Sales, Sports Medicine, Sports Law, Public Relations, Advertising, Broadcasting, Finance, Player Personnel and Journalism will be on hand. Among the two dozen sports and entertainment organizations scheduled to have tables on the concourse are Comcast-Spectacor, the Flyers, 76ers, Eagles, Phillies, Bowie Baysox, Delmarva Shorebirds, Frederick Keys, Philadelphia University, Temple, Villanova and Comcast SportsNet.
Career Fair attendees will be able to visit the tables from 3:00-4:45 p.m. before executives from Comcast-Spectacor will speak and take questions from 5:00-5:30. For more information, call 215-465-4522 or 215-389-9543.
SATURDAY IS FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT
Don't miss Fan Appreciation Night during the Phantoms' final regular-season home game this Saturday. Dozens of prizes will be given away, including the Phantoms' jerseys that night through the Shirts Off Our Backs promotion. Everyone in attendance will receive a Phantoms poster, and be there before the puck is dropped to see who wins the Phantoms annual team awards. Be sure to also stop by the display on the concourse to get a close-up look at the AHL Calder Cup trophy.
PHANTOMS WIVES TO PRESENT CHECK TO FAMILIES OF FREEDOM
The Phantoms Wives Charity Foundation, a division of the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation, will be presenting a check to the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund prior to Saturday's game. This season, the Phantoms Wives dedicated all their fund-raising efforts to the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, which provides educational assistance to financially needy children and spouses of those killed or permanently disabled as a result of the Sept. 11 tragedies.
The Phantoms Wives' first fund-raising event of the season raised $37,500 during Turn Back the Clock Night on Nov. 18, as Phantoms players wore replica 1967 Flyers jerseys and then auctioned them off following the game. The second-annual player bachelor auction on Friday, Dec. 7 then raised $2,545, as fans placed bids for the chance to go on a date with one of seven single Phantoms players.
A total of $34,700 was collected on Feb. 18 in the second live jersey auction. In celebrating Presidents' Day, the team wore special red, white & blue jerseys before heading to Bullies to auction them off. The final jersey auction took place online after the Phantoms wore special fatigue-style jerseys during their game on March 22. The week-long auction brought in $17,621.77.
Checks totaling $11,000 were also happily accepted from the Atlantic District of USA Hockey and Flyers Skate Zone on March 1. The Atlantic District of USA Hockey ($8,500) and Flyers Skate Zone ($2,500) sold special Hockey Stands United patches and t-shirts to benefit the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund. In addition, the Phantoms Phan Club added $500 to the total on April 1.
PLAYOFF TICKETS ON SALE
Individual game tickets and 10-game strips are on sale for the upcoming American Hockey League Calder Cup playoffs. Tickets for individual Phantoms playoff games are $13, $17 and $19 for adults, and $8 for all children 14 and under.
Individual game playoff tickets will be available at the First Union Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations throughout the Delaware Valley. CN8 AIRING ROAD GAMES ON FRIDAY & SUNDAY
CN8, the Comcast Network, will wrap up its 11-game Phantoms television package with a pair of road games this weekend. On Friday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m., CN8 will televise Philadelphia's final game in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Two days later, tune in as the Phantoms battle the Hershey Bears at 6:00 p.m. in the last-ever regular-season game at historic Hersheypark Arena. Tim Saunders and Orest Kindrachuk will be calling all the action.
PHANTOMS RANK SECOND IN AHL ATTENDANCE
After playing in front of a season-high 15,043 fans on March 29, the Phantoms have moved into second place in AHL attendance. Through 38 home games, Philadelphia is averaging 8,278 per game, just 59 behind first-place Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (8,337). Philadelphia now owns three of the top five attendance figures in the league this season: 15,043 on Friday; 14,505 on Feb. 2; and 14,202 on Dec. 28. Philadelphia has drawn 11 crowds of at least 10,000 fans this season.
REGISTRATION ENDS WEDNESDAY TO WIN HARLEY DAVIDSON

STUDENT TICKETS JUST $8 ON WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS
College and high school students with valid student IDs can attend all Phantoms games on Wednesdays and Fridays this season for just $8.
SAFETY FIRST
This year, the Phantoms have instituted a Designated Driver program at their games. It occurs during each weekday game. All fans are encouraged to sign up and agree not to drink alcoholic beverages during the duration of the night, and provide safe transportation for the other members of their group. Every designated driver receives free O'Doul's Non-Alcoholic Brew in Bullies, two free tickets to a future Phantoms game and has his/her name placed in a raffle to win a Phantoms Windshirt ($75 value). One windshirt is awarded at every Wednesday and Friday night game.
