St. John's IceCaps News Release
Allentown, PA - The St. John's IceCaps opened their six-game road trip with a 5-1 loss to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Wednesday night at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA.
The IceCaps opened scoring at 13:59 of the first period, on a powerplay marker by Sven Andrighetto. Mark Barberio and Bud Holloway were awarded assists. However, it was all downhill for St. John's after that as the Phantoms scored five straight goals, including three in the middle frame.
