THIRD ANNUAL SCHOOL DAY GAME ON WEDNESDAY
The Phantoms' third annual School Day Game is on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 11:05 a.m. at the Wachovia Spectrum. Throughout the game against the Binghamton Senators, students from all across the Delaware Valley will take part in educational lessons in math and science that revolve around hockey. It is a unique way for kids to learn outside of the classroom, while also partaking in a Phantoms regular-season home game. The School Day Game is being sponsored by the Philadelphia Daily News and Philadelphia Inquirer's News in Education program.
EAGLES CHEERLEADERS TO APPEAR ON FRIDAY
Four members of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleading Squad will drop the opening puck prior to Friday's game against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Wachovia Center at 7:05 p.m. They will also be signing autographs from 6:00-6:45 p.m. by Section 220 on the main concourse.
WORD OF LIFE GAME ON FRIDAY PRESENTED BY CHICK-FIL-A
Friday will be the annual Word of Life night at the Phantoms game. There will be a postgame Christian speaker to motivate the attendees, and all local church groups are encouraged to attend. The night is presented by Chick-fil-A. For more information, call the Phantoms sales office at 215-465-4522.
COMCAST SPORTSNET TO TELEVISE FRIDAY'S GAME
Comcast SportsNet will air its third of 10 Phantoms games this season on Friday when the Bridgeport Sound Tigers visit the Wachovia Center. Flyers radio announcer Tim Saunders will handle the play-by-play duties, while Flyers color commentator Steve Coates will provide his insight into the game. The next televised game will come on Friday, Dec. 10 against the Hershey Bears.
SMITH TO VISIT MULBERRY CHILD CARE AND PRESCHOOL
Phantoms center/left wing Jeff Smith will visit the Mulberry Child Care and Preschool on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Smith will read to the kids and answer any questions they have on what it is like to be a professional hockey player, and will also sign autographs for the kids. The preschool is located at 2100 Renaissance Blvd. in Gulph Mills, Pa.
UMBERGER ON "INSIDE THE PHANTOMS" ON TUESDAY
The next edition of "Inside the Phantoms" will be on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. with Phantoms rookie center R.J. Umberger. Hosted by David Unkle, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every other Tuesday throughout the season on WNJC (1360 AM).
UMBERGER ON "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS" ON WEDNESDAY
R.J. Umberger will be the guest on the Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday on WNJC (1360 AM). The rookie center is tied for third on the team in scoring with nine points (3G, 6A).
STAFFORD JOINS MDA MUSCLE TEAM
Phantoms forward Ben Stafford will be one of the local athletes and celebrities at the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Muscle Team Kickof Cocktail Party on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 6:00 p.m. Organized to recruit top athletes from the Delaware Valley to put their muscle behind the search to find a cure for neuromuscular disease, the event will be held at 1835 Market Street in Philadelphia.
MEYER TO APPEAR AT "HOCKEY 101"
Fans can sign up now for "Hockey 101," presented by Carrabba's Italian Grill, which will take place on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Sovereign Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, N.J. "Hockey 101" is a free seminar about the fundamentals of hockey, emceed by Flyers TV Color Analyst Steve Coates, with appearances by Flyers Ambassador of Hockey Bob "Hound" Kelly, Phantoms defenseman Freddy Meyer and members of the Flyers Delta Dental Ice Team. MURPHY TO BE HONORED AS MARCH OF DIMES PHANTOM OF THE YEAR
Phantoms right wing Mark Murphy will be recognized as the Philadelphia Phantom of the Year during the 20th annual March of Dimes Sports Awards Banquet. The event is taking place this Monday, Nov. 22 at the Regency Palace in Mt. Laurel, N.J.

TELEVISION SCHEDULE CHANGE
The Phantoms and Comcast SportsNet have announced a change in the television schedule for this season. Instead of the game on Wednesday, Nov. 24 against the Providence Bruins, SportsNet will carry the game on March 20, 2005 against the Portland Pirates at 6:05 p.m.
