Maple Leafs Make Roster Moves

The St. John's Maple Leafs announced today that goaltender Todd Ford has been reassigned to the Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL. Ford backed-up goaltender J.F. Racine in the Maple Leafs two wins last weekend against the Chicago Wolves. Ford has a 2-0-0 record, a 1.50 avg. and a .945 save percentage in two games this season with the Ice Pilots. Ford was Toronto's 3rd choice, 74th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

The St. John's Maple Leafs take on the Manitoba Moose tomorrow night in Winnipeg. Game time is 10:00pm (NT) and will be broadcast live on Radio NL (930AM), www.sjmapleleafs.ca and Rogers Sportsnet.
