Youngstown Phantoms News Release

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Last Friday, the Youngstown Phantoms hosted Second Harvest Food Bank Night at the Covelli Centre for the team's contest against Team USA. All fans that donated three non-perishable goods could receive a discounted $3 ticket to the game.

In total, 1,611 pounds of food were donated on this special occasion, which featured a total attendance of 1,764.

As part of the collection, Gia Russa, in partnership with the Phantoms, donated 23 cases of pasta and sauce in further efforts to support the Food Bank.

All donations will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, which solicits, stores, and distributes food to hunger-relief organizations in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull Counties. The food bank also values education of the community about hunger in the tri-county area, and advocates for those who are poor.

The Second Harvest Food Bank came by to pick up the donated food at the Covelli Centre, where team Owner & CEO Bruce J. Zoldan helped load the truck (see attached photo).

Single game tickets are on sale now for all Phantoms' home games at the Covelli Centre. Phantoms 10-Game Flex Plans are also available starting at the low price of just $89. Call 330.747.PUCK (7825) for more information or to reserve seats today.
