
Phantoms Announce Internal Promotion

Adirondack Phantoms News Release
The Adirondack Phantoms have announced the promotion of Chris Porreca to the position of Executive Vice President. Prior to his promotion, Chris held the position of Executive Director of Corporate Sales. Last season he won the Front Row Salesman of the year award for his efforts with the Phantoms.
Prior to joining the Phantoms, Porreca was Director of Competition for Special Olympics New York and helped to bring athletes to the first National Games in Ames, Iowa and also the first Special Olympic World Games in Shanghai, China.
"Chris has lived in the area for eleven years and has a passion for the Phantoms and the Adirondack Region" President Rob Brooks said. "He has proven to be extremely valuable in helping shape our goal of providing great family entertainment for the entire region; we are pleased to give him this opportunity with the Phantoms."
Currently Chris plays soccer and hockey with various groups in the area and also has the opportunity to coach his two boys with the Adirondack Youth Hockey Association. His wife also has ties to the area with her co-ownership of Curves for Women in South Glens Falls.
"My family has been a part of the community for over a decade and this gives us the opportunity to help showcase one of the many special qualities of the area" Porreca Said. We look forward to working with the people of this great community keep AHL hockey in Glens Falls for many years to come."
