Pettit Earns IFL Executive of the Year

DES MOINES - Iowa Barnstormers, Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Co-Owner, John Pettit, has been awarded Executive of the Year honors, the Indoor Football League announced today.
Under John Pettit's leadership, the Barnstormers saw a smooth transition into the Indoor Football League for the 2015 season. The team ranked at or near the top in attendance and sales weekly and averaged 6,564 fans per game, second in the IFL. In their final three home games of the season, the Barnstormers hosted over 7,000 fans, an attendance number that the team looks to build on in 2016. Throughout their inaugural season, Pettit also served on the IFL Expansion Committee. His efforts have assisted in not only growing the Barnstormers brand, but also in solidifying the IFL business model.
"I am honored to be selected as the recipient of this award," said Pettit. "It is a pleasure to be part of the Indoor Football League as I enjoy working with individuals who share the same drive, vision, and passion. Throughout our inaugural season, the Barnstormers have created meaningful partnerships and we are looking forward to another great season in 2016."
