
Petes Travel to Whitby for Final Pre-Season Game of 2022

(Whitby, ON) - The Peterborough Petes matched up against the Oshawa Generals in a Sunday afternoon matinee at the Iroquois Park in Whitby on Sunday, September 25th. The Petes would fall to the Generals by a score of 5-0.
Petes second year goalie, Liam Sztuska, made his second start of the pre-season, turning away 25 of 30 shots faced. The Petes had 33 shots in the loss, but couldn't beat Oshawa goalie Carter Bickle. Stuart Rolofs, Beckett Sennecke, Calum Ritchie, Ryan Gagnier, and Dylan Roobroeck each had a goal for the Generals in the game.
With the loss, the Petes wrap-up the pre-season with a 3-2-0-0 record.
The Petes will host the Erie Otters on Thursday September 9th, in their 2022 season and home opener. The game is scheduled for a 7:05PM puck drop at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
