
Petes Sweep Season Series against Battalion with 8-3 Win

(Peterborough, ON) - A five-point night from Nick Robertson and multi-point games from four others contributed to a commanding 8-3 Petes win over the North Bay Battalion at the PMC on Thursday night, sweeping their four-game season series.
Nick Robertson (40, 41) scored twice to move into first in goal scoring in the OHL. Mason McTavish (28, 29) also tallied twice, while Declan Chisholm (10), Brady Hinz (11), Tucker Robertson (7), and Akil Thomas (19) registered single markers. Nick Robertson's goals extended his goal scoring streak to 13 games, while both he and Thomas lengthened their point streaks to 14 games. Thomas' goal was the 100th of his OHL career.
Nick Robertson added three assists, with Chisholm, Thomas, and Jacob Paquette each recorded two. McTavish, Zach Gallant, Jack York, and Max Grondin each registered one helper.
Final shots were 37-33 in favour of the Petes. Peterborough went 1/6 on the power play and 1/4 on the penalty kill.
The Petes are back in action at the PMC on Saturday, February 8 at 7:05pm to host the league leading Ottawa 67's.
