
Petes Sign Lino Martschini

Peterborough Petes General Manager David Reid announced today that the team has signed 1st round selection in the 2010 CHL Import Draft Lino Martschini to an OHL Contract.
Martschini, a native of Switzerland competed in the 2010 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka U18 tournament earlier this month. The 5'5" 135lbs right winger played for ZUG U20 in Switzerland this past season and is eligible for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
"The Petes are proud to add a player of Lino's caliber to our line up" states Petes General Manager David Reid. "Lino is a skilled right winger who brings international experience to our team and has average almost a point a game in international competitions for Switzerland. Lino is a dynamic player who plays the game at a very high tempo."
